So, I was thinking about purchasing the Suzuki rigid-mount saddlebags but I'm not clear on how they attach/detach. Can they be conveniently detached/reattached w/o having to break out tools, contort oneself under the bike, etc.?
Since convenient removal is an issue, I suppose this does beg the question: why don't I just get the throwover-style bags? What are the pros and cons of the throwover style? Any issue if a passenger must sit on the throwover strap? Any other issues?
Lastly, was considering getting a bag from Biker's Friend. I'll be attaching it to my S50's sissy bar luggage rack. Anyone else have one of these? What size did you buy for safe/practical stowage on aforementioned rack?
Thanks for any tips!
P.S. Thank you to Dr. Bob and others for your advice last year. I picked up a light blue '06 S50 and am loving it. :bluethum:
