Question about riding a bicycle everyday.?

If I ride my bicycle everyday, and start drinking water, do you think i'll start loosing some weight? I think I would ride at least 4 miles a day, most likely more. I'm 16 btw. weighing 170
Okay, over 4 miles.. I live in the country, long country roads to ride on. :)
 
Most likely you will loose weight.When I was younger (13) I ended up looseing over 20 Pounds in 1 month.Though I rode my bike about 8-9 miles and drank nothing but water but I also ate heathly.So instead of rideing 4 bump it up around 6 and slowly do more and more miles.Try to eat healthy
 
If you are aiming to lose weight, you should follow not only a good exercise routine but a low fat diet. Healthy food and some bike rides may be a good combination to lose weight, but you must be confident and persistent to see the results in some weeks.
On the other hand, you should not count miles (as 4 miles seems to be a short distance to go in a bicycle) you should count time and bike effort (hills are more difficult and represent more effort).
