Okay, so I have rain dance on my Cloyster (who has a ridiculously high defense and is my starter/spiker). I usually lay all my spikes with him, then use rain dance, then use explosion to take out the other person's first pokemon. Then I send out my Kingdra, whose speed is now doubled because of the Rain Dance that cloyster used.
Question:
I know there's a little rock thing (sorry I can't remember the name of it) that, when you use rain dance, if you're holding the stone it makes the rain last quite a bit longer than it usually would. Now, if I have my cloyster holding that, and HE uses rain dance, but then dies right after, would the rain still last that long or does the rain stop right after he dies???
