Question about Photoshop?

Hi , i'm considering buying cs4 extended , do i needed to pay a subscription ever year or for updates ect or is it the one time payment. Thanks in advance.

You buy it like any other software. It's yours. It's not a license deal. Updates are free.

Hey, not sure about cs4 itself, but cs2 and cs3 are pay once programs. One payment for the full range of features, but i'm sure there are optional extras which can be purchased e.g. brush sets

Not sure of the cs4 cost but cs3 costs a few hundred pounds for the standard version that is photoshop cs3 and image ready cs3.
