Question about OPK tests?

Hi,

I use the clearblue digital opk - When the LH surge is detected you get a smiley face (so much easier to use!)

I have used them for 2 months and each month I only got 1-2 positive tests. It says that once you have a positive test there is no need to test again untill your next cycle.

I've only tried one brand, but can't remember what it was. It had 7 Ovulation tests and 1 preg test. When I used the ovulation tests 7 days in a row they all came back as positive - is this how they are supposed to work?
