can you experience withdrawals from opiates after 21 straight days on them when you quit suddenly?

i had major surgery and was on Percocet for about 10 days, then i switched to Tylenol #3 for another 11 days.

i took a tylenol #3 about 2pm today, its about 10pm and i start to get really anxious, like a panic attack is coming on.

then i realize i haven't taken my 2nd dose of tylenol #3, so i was wondering if even after 21 days straight on opiates if you could start feeling mild withdrawal symptoms? such as the anxiety, feeling a little nauseous, feeling sorta hot and sweating a little.

thanks for any help/suggestions.

thank you for the responses.

it's definitely withdrawals.

the 3 main symptoms i'm experiencing are:

Stomach Pains
Diarrhea
Agitation/Anxiety

^^^^ and all those above are listed as sypmtoms of opiate withdrawal.

My w/d's included, severe chills, hot flashes, constant yawning, stomach cramps and extreme shivers, leg anxiety, muscle aches, insomnia, anxiousness and agitation. I missed out on the diarrhea one. But, I was on for 6 months.

If your w/d's aren't too severe try staying off of the Percs - the w/d's should go away in 3-4 days.

Good Luck!!

Hiya......fraid like everyone else I would say they are WRAB. The best thing you can do is to be strong and maybe see your doctor. Please try to stay strong though and not take the magic pills to stop WRAB as you've only been on for 21days.........dont make it months or years.
Good luck!!

I think you should consult your doctor.
I am a recovering alcoholic 30 years clean slate...if Ihad to do it all again I would consult doctor instead fo going cold turkey it was crazy.

Good luck!

I asked my pharmacist the same question and he said that people have experienced withdrawals even after just 10 days on Percocet (Oxycodone).

But, since you have been on the pills for a short time, you chances of having lesser withdrawals and for shorter time are good. Talk to your doctor and let him know what you are experiencing and ask his opinion and recommendation.

thank you, it's been 2 days so far, seems they're getting better, i should be cool in another day or two.

Glad to hear you are starting to feel better!!!!

In a couple days you will be right as rain!!!

Take care!

don't fool around with w/RAB they can be serious.

tell your doctor and he/she will be able to help you.
I went through w/RAB by myself but was in hell for a few days and almost didn't make it.

Give your mind and body a well deserved break.

Best of luck
I'll keep you in my prayers.
