I can not get it to work with my nokia 6680. It was working fine until now it wont see the phone through use or bluetooth. the computer sees the phone but not the software. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it did not help what can i do

You'll need to uninstall and reinstall the PC Suite if it can't even see the adapter. PC Suite is touchy that way. Once PC Suite is installed correct you'll see your BT adapter as being available in Manage Connections.

If the device is paired directly to your bluetooth adapter, unpair it, then try to discover it again through PC Suite, not directly with your bt adapter's control panel.

If PC Suite isn't seeing the BT adapter then you need to uninstall and reinstall PC Suite. From the Manage Connection you can tell whether or not PC Suite is detecting your BT adapter. I prefer the MS BT drivers personally, a lot less hassle to get working. If you want to try using them instead simply uninstall the Widcomm drivers and reboot without the BT adapter connected. Then plug it in and XP SP2 will do the rest. DO NOT INSTALL PC SUITE until you have change the BT driver otherwise you'll have to do it over as well.

If all else fails follow these steps:

1. uninstall PC Suite & Other Nokia drivers you may have installed
2. uninstall BT adapter (aka delete from Device Manager)
3. Reboot
4. Install BT adapter
5. reboot
6. Reinstall PC Suite but only if BT is install and working correctly.

You'll know if BT is working if you can pair your phone, transfer files etc.
