question about my nokia neuron and aol instant messenger?

when i use aim on my cell phone i cannot get it to not make a noise when i receive a message. I went in the settings in aim and unchecked the make a sound and unchecked the vibrate. I also turned my cell phone on silent and it still jingles when i receive a message on aim. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know how to make it stop? Thanks
