Question about my college midterm?!?

Ok so I'm really freaking out right now, I just got an e-mail from one of my professors asking me why I wasn't in class to take a midterm last week, but I was there and I did take it!! He's not answering any of my e-mails right now I guess because it's the weekend, but I'm just wondering if he lost it what's going to happen to me and my grade? does he have the ability to give me a zero even if I took it and it is all his fault that he doesn't have it. ?

Please help!
 
This is every professor's worst nightmare. But you need to be calm, not freakishly worried or indignant. And it would help if you have a couple of classmates who can vouch for your presence at the test.
