i am 44 years old and have OCD, and have been taking an SSRI for many years. but, i am starting to wonder if i needs to address another issue i have always had, but just recently acknowledging. i guess you would perhaps call them mood swings. i don't know if they are related to my obsessional thinking or what exactly , but i wish i were able to think in a more steady fashion. its like this: i can be convinced of one thing, a thought or a plan of action for example, and then within minutes i can lose my conviction of that thought or intention. i think my family thinks i am nuts. can anyone relate to this? is this normal?
btw, i dont suffer from depression. my OCD is strictly anxiety based.
