Question about military training?

My friend wants to join the military after high school but has a fear of throwing up/seeing people throw up and is hesitant to join up. Do you ppl usually get sick from the physical training workouts? How do you avoid getting sick during it?

Civilians focus on avoiding things they fear. We focus on getting PAST those fears.

Tell your friend that if he isn't willing to tackle this tiny little fear, he needs to find a different line of work. This is so trivially small that he'll laugh at himself in a few years if he decides to get over it...and that's all it takes: deciding to get over it.

i am in the army now, and the physical exercise (PT) isnt that bad... although i would highly recomend that before you join that you and your friend start to work out a little... start runnning, pushups, and situps, and you guys will be golden

P.S.
mae sure before you join you know EXACTLY what you are getting into.

the only time anyone ever really threw up was during the CS Chamber, where they gas you.. but you really cant help it then. And to be honest, its actually kinda comical to see, cuz you will look just as stupid throwing up and crying everywhere as your battles.

So i mean, you see them throw up sometimes, but usually if it makes one person throw up then everyone is throwing up...

i think ur friend will be ok, like i said i think i saw vomit all of like 2 times.

The first week you get a couple people throwing up cause they can't handle the run ... but for the most part you don't see people throwing up. If you want to avoid being sick be in shape when you go and stay hydrated.
