okay so i know alot of soldiers have gotten married to foreigners and i know from south korea isnt very uncommon. going through command how hard is it.

what is the process in marrying a person from S. Korea. when your IN korea,

also if you are in the US, and want to marry someone from Korea and you HAVE met in person, and you go through the K1 fiance visa process and it is approved, do you still have to go through your command to marry?

Does command often say NO to this ?

ALL information will help.

Foreign women marrying american soldiers and sailors has been around for hundreds of years. The South Koreans would like to marry ANY military person so they can immigrate to the United States so when the North Attacks their family doesn't get nuked.

You need to wag tail down and talk to your Platoon Sgt and get some man to man advice ok?

looks like you (or your friend) are in Korea.
This is easy.
A step by step plan for "how to marry a foreign national" is part of the briefings/classes a soldier must take upon assignment to Korea.
The classes are online, the 8th army website has them.
retake the class, take notes.
any problems? talk to your CoC first, but you chaplain can help, so can ACS (army community service).

as far as being in the states and doing it? no clue

good luck
