Question about method for trying to conceive?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for awhile. My OBGYN told me of the method she thinks is best. I have never heard of it and wanted to know if anyone else has. She said I should buy an ovulation kit and see when I ovulate.(I have heard of this) BUT She said we should not have sex for the 2-2 1/2 weeks in between my period and my ovulation day. She said it would enhance the sperm count. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I am willing to try anything, but this do not sound fun.

Yes i actually did hear this before! And im more and likely pregnant now because of it! But i never heard of the kit. You gotta write down when u get your period and when your gunna get it next! The middle weeks are the times you are more in likely to concieve! But with the guy not jackin off or anything will help cause it will give a bigger load. But using lubricants can get in the way of trying to concieve but yes it true i saw it on the tyra show! I was shocked hearin it.
 
Some of your husband stronger sperm can live inside of your for up to 7 days. By having sex this often and frequent you are obviously building the amount of stronger sperm inside of you. When your egg is floating down the tubes there will be lots of strong sperm waiting for it and should help with conception. Also try and keep as much of your husbands baby batter inside of you for as long as you can as this will also increase the chance for the sperm to work their way up inside of you. Good Luck.
 
Having sex more often is the only thing that will increase your chances! You wan't young strong sperm plus you never really know when you ovulate so if you have sex every day ( or every other day ) then you will get pregnant as eventually as long as you two are healthy. There is only a 20% chance a month you can get pregnant so boost your chances and baby dance as often as you can.
