Let me first say that I mean no offense by this question. I am genuinely curious.
I am white, and go to a predominantly Korean high school in southern CA. The junior high I attended was also predominantly Korean. From what I've observed over the years, many Korean girls tend to be whiny and act ditzy and stupid, even though they usually have good grades. I've noticed this more in native Korean girls than in those born and raised in America. It's something I can't say I've seen as much in other ethnic groups.
I was wondering if this is the norm in Korea? Through my American perspective it seems rather odd, and I'll admit annoying at times. Many of these girls are academically successful, and I don't understand why they act stupid like that.
I do not consider myself racist in any way, this is just peculiar to me.
