We have had our dog, Benny, since October 08. We brought him home from an animal shelter, and he looks like a small black golden retriever. He also has a coat like a golden as well.
I've gotten pretty good at keeping his coat in good shape - got the right tools and brush him a little everynight so that he doesn't get too bored with the process. The problem is, apparently I missed under his ears because he has mats on both sides - not huge, just little, but I feel bad missing them.
Is there any other way to get them out without cutting them out? I would like to fix this now before they get any larger.
