I have two questions that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere else, I just need to know, when you do a glycolic peel do you have to do the entire face or can you only use it on the spots you wanna get ride of? and I have my acne pretty much under control I'm afraid if I do one It will mess up my face again, can you break out really bad using one?

Any answers would be appreciated.

Most people usually do the entire face, because it helps the entire skin tone, making it look brighter and clearer. It's possible you may have an initial breakout. You can just use it on the spots you want to get rid of and see how it goes. Use it on the whole face if there's no problem.

ive used glycolic acid for about a year now every week for 6 weeks and then id stop for 2 weeks, at first it did get rid of my breakouts but what happened was that id get more breakouts and the glycolic acid would get rid of it then id get more breakouts and glycolic acid would get rid of it, so this meant i had a bunch of red marks on my face from the pimples going and coming again, when i went to my esthetician she told me to stop because it was irritating and thinning my skin out and i had to get down to the root cause of it, if ure skin is pretty clear now and u do not have any hyperpigmentation or brown spots or any problems with uneven complexion i dont think u should do the peels unless u get them professionally done.
