Question about Ghostbusters

This isn't really a question about Ghostbusters, but more about New York City.
There's a strange building in Manhattan and I was wondering what it is. It's a huge skyscraper with no windows, down towarRAB the south end of the island.
It appears in Ghostbusters just behing their headquarters, and there's a really good shot of it at about 1h 6m into the film - just after the containment power has been shut off and the ghosts are escaping out through the roof.
Does anyone know what it is???

I think the one you're talking about is the AT&T switching centre. It is filled with communication equipment and I assume the lack of windows is to protect the equipment from the Sun?
