My daughter is 28 months old and her top 2 front teeth are horrible! I have tried everything to get her to brush them she fights me everytime. I have even as a last resort held her down and forced her to brush them. I don't want her to associate it tooth brushing with me forcing it upon her but I don't know what else I can try. I have tried singing, making it fun, allowing her to pick out her own paste and brush, a spin brush, bribes and nothing works at all. When her top front teeth were coming in they came in with a brownish tint to them like the enamel was dead. She has no sweets at all, she drinks mostly water*my wife adds a tiny bit maybe a half ounce of juice if that* to the water to give it a little color and then my daughter will drink it. Anyway, her top 2 teeth are so built up and horrible looking I don't know how I can get her to brush and enjoy it. I know I need to take her to a dentist but I know she cannot handle it and I don't want to feel bad because I feel like I did this to her teeth. Will the dentist be able to fix it? Any tips on how I can get her to brush her teeth without my physically holding her down I have tried everything and nothing is working!
