question about getting army BAH?

ok, I am enlisted in the national guard and am applying for BAH. I own a house and and as far as i know am going to get the BAH. However, I have roommates that pay rent directly to me every month. They do not cerrently have a lease yet but before i go to basic, I am planning on writing a lease up for them to sign to protect me as the home owner and them as the renter. will this effect my ability to get BAH.

next question. one of my roommates is enlisting into the army reserves. he is going to apply for BAH as a renter of my house. the same one i live at. he will be using the lease that i wrote up as a renting contract as proof that he is renting. will that effect his ability or my ability to get BAH. is this even legal?

i cant say anything about rating BAH while youre not on active duty for guard or reserves, but if either of you is in a position to rate BAH, even if youre living together, youll get the BAH at the rate youre supposed to-probably the without dependents rate.
the only time it becomes a bit fuzzy is dual military marriages-some services, like the marines, only give full BAH to sr member if theyre the same branch. interservice they both get the single rate though
