question about ford escort zx2?

I was wandering how hard it is to replace a oxygen sensor in a 1998 Ford escort zx2
I know there is two of them I was told it is the before the converter because I have bad gas mileage and a rough idle.

Ive got a 2000 zx2, i know that they are almost exactly the same.

on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being u can do it eyes closed, 10 being mechanic has to do it

id say 4 or 5

if u have a jack or ramps it should be hard, but if u do have to reach into the hood.... ull probly struggle

remember there is 2 of them, bank one(before the converter) and bank 2 (after the converter)

Not to hard if you have a lift. Otherwise, it can be a pain and they have the tool at you local auto parts store for about $10.00.
EDIT: Other guy has a point. I forgot about PB Blaster.

soak it with a PB blaster or any thing and use a good wench or socket to remove it.
