question about flashed phones

so I'm looking into buying a flashed Helio Ocean and using it with Cricket, but I don't know if all features will work?

I haven't had a cellphone since april 07, and back then, the Cricket internet service didn't really work. I mean, I couldn't access any websites off it, only the main cricket one and whatever they linked me to. With flashed phones, does the internet work (like being able to visit any website I want?) or has anyone found a way around doing that?

Basically, I just wanted to know if flashed phones still maintain all of their features when they are flashed over to cricket. Thanks

Last I heard the ocean will lock up anytime a mms is sent to it.

No i have not had a problem with it locking up when mms's are sent to it. They just dont show up.
