Question about flash drives?

If I transfer mp3 files from computer to computer by a flash drive, is there any chance that the files get corrupted or lose quality or anything of that sort?

Also, sometimes when my antivirus is running, I play music and it gets distorted for a about three seconds before playing. Does this mean that playing during scanning damages the file or the music?
 
you always run the chance of getting a corrupted files anytime you copy them, but no the quality will never change.
No you wont damage the file during scanning, it may slow down or skip if you have a slower computer while scan is enabled.
 
for the second part, usually it means that the thing is loading and the virus scanner is taking enough memory or cpu or whatever to make it load weirdly at first, or it doesn't load right. first part, i don't know.
