I've been looking into buying a fish eye lens for my camera. I've seen they cost about 400 dollars. Does anyone know where I can get one that's cheaper? Or would I be better off with buying a lomo camera? Does the lens even work that well?
If you are going to use the fisheye as a toy, the LOMO is a good choice.
The quality of add-on fisheye lenses ($40-$60) is quite low, but suit your needs when added to your existing 18-55 mm lens on the D40. Amazon sells these kind of lenses.
