Question about fertility tests?

I have been trying for a baby for 12 months and my GP is sending me for tests. I have to have two blood tests which I am fine with but he also has requested a dye test and ultrasound scan to check my fallopian tubes and to rule out PCOS. Half of my is really excited as i'll finally get to find out whether I have a prob or not (and how to put it right if I have) But the other half of me is very nervous for exactly the same reason.. Has anyone experienced these tests? What do they entail?

Well lots of baby dust for u, i sure hope it works out. I also had to have an HSG test(the one with the dye to check tubes). It really wasn't a big deal while it was being preformed and its kinda neat to c the dye going through the tubes. I will say that there was some pretty bad cramping afterwards so make sure to have someone with u to drive because u may not feel up to it for a little while. hope i was of help to u and hopefully ur dr can come up with a course of action to get u pregnant. i know how u feel my hubby and i tried for 5years with no luck on our own and i went to dr and had loads of tests and finally went on 1 round of clomid and got pregnant 10 days later!! so don't give up!!
