hey guys--
Back in the summer, i had a sudden outburst of BAD acne. It started on my cheeks right below my eyes, and spread across my face in large patches. I tried everything from face scrubs, to "Super strength" acne paRAB. nothing worked, just made it more irritated and red. My mom then brought me to a dermatologist and he looked at my skin and told me(forgive me i forget the name of the condition) that i was getting this acne because of oil or somethin trapped underneath dead/alive skin cells? Something like that..regardless, he treated me with a corabo of Duac daily, and Tazorac(mightve spelled incorrectly) nightly...a few months go by, and my skin is PERFECT! Clear as can be, no signs of ANYTHING!! Then around last month, I got my wisdom teeth removed, and it hurt to apply the creams. So for about 5 days, I missed a few applications here and there, but still put it on a few times, too. When I was able to put the medicines back on, I noticed smalll, smallll patches of acne on my nose, and again on my cheeks , under my eyes. I made nothing of it. The acne stayed there, and even more showed up, still not that big of a deal, but it concerned me, because it seemed like the Duac was losing strength. It stayed located on my upper cheeks though. Three weeks went by, I ran out of Duac, and replaced it with Clearasil paRAB until I could get a refill, which I think was a big no-no because I noticed more acne showing up. Anyways, I got more Duac from my doc yesterday, and have restarted applications. The scary thing is, the acne seems like its slowly spreading over my face again since before running out in the first place..small,singular bumps above my lip,on my chin, near my ears..Im afraid the Duac isnt going to work,Ill be back to square one, and Ill need morpowerful medicine, even though my doc said I wont. But it spreading. What do you think?? Will the Duac help me or do you think Ive got myself a problem here? The acne, btw, appears to come literally outta nowhere, and look like bug bites. Not alot of whiteheaRAB. They also can showup within minutes, which is WEIRD!!
