Question about difference in S603 and S603FP1...if there is one....

Hey carsmovies, being an E61 owner maybe you could answer this for me.

Is it possible to cut/copy text or weblinks from emails in the default email program on the E61? I ask this since, from what I hear, 'clicking' on a link in the email program opens up the Nokia Service Browser (good job, Nokia) instead of the Nokia OSS Web Browser by default. I will be browsing forums via E61 QUITE a bit and will need this functionality. If not possible, what is / would be your workaround?

Thanks

Rotateme works on the E65, but not fully. the D-pad still operates as though it was in portrait mode...so pressing left, will go up. What's even more of a mindfukc is when you have rotateme on landscape and start the camera...

As mentioned before I not sure about the default email client since I don't use it but yes in the mail for exchange email client links open up the HTML (OSS V1.0) browser and not the service browser. The service browser isn't even necessary anymore and I don't know why Nokia continues to include it. The OSS browser also does wap.

Also, the e61 and all the series 60 devices do copy and paste text.

My guess is that rotateme uses some coding that calls the S60 landscape mode functions like in the gallery and camera mode. The E65 doesn't have a landscape mode in either of these functions unlike the N73 or N80...it's just always portrait. This seems to make the most sense...especially considering how rotateme shows the camera view turned even in landscapemode.

well...that would make perfect sense. I'm still baffled why it didnt at least work like the E65 on my E50...oh well....no E65 for me anyway...eye on the prize.....n95 doesnt need the app!
