Question about Cricket's blacklist

I'm a retailer for Verizon and one of my stores was broken into. They stole 150 hanRABets, which are no longer usable on Verizon's network. I'm thinking about the only place they could be used is if someone flashed them to be used on Cricket's network.

I'm assuming that Cricket has a blacklist. Will they add stolen esn's from other cdma carriers to their restricted/black list? Are there any Cricket employees on here that could help get my stolen phones added to the list? Or does anyone have a contact (email would be great) of someone that could help.

Thanks!

Im sorry to hear about your loss but honestly the thieves will probably a: sell it to store that flashes phones that can most likely change esn's and b: knowing cricket they probably wont be much of help I guess my cricket rep could help but they have so much work they wont have time best to call 1800 cricket and ask to speak to a supervisor

You can, with ease. A local store may be able to put you in touch with an area rep who may be able to help. But 1800CRICKET will be useless.

Clintw, i might be able to help you out, esp if your in North Cali if your not you can foward me the info and please have proof and a police report and i will get your ESN's black listed, or you can go down to the local Cricket Retail store and do it, but yes i will black list but need the proof.

:^/ If it couldn't be done, there wouldn't be a law against it. And you're right; it is easy, and it allows one to use any nuraber of phones on the same account. The law against cloning phones is there both to protect the wireless providers' income, and also to protect the individual's privacy from eavesdropping hackers, etc.

It's also against HowardForums' rules to discuss it too much. To explain why it's wrong is okay, to ask or answer how-to questions is bannable. Just so you know.

cricket wont do much for you. i had 20 Cricket branded phones taken from one of my cases. police report and all, and they never blacklisted.

your insurance will cover the phones.

My insurance will cover most of the loss, but my goal is to make the phones worthless to the thief that stole them and if someone has purchased the phones they will not be pleased when they get blacklisted, so maybe they will turn him in.
