i know that if a negatively charged metal sphere touches a neutral metal sphere, some of the electrons will cross over from the negatively charged sphere to the neutral one, making them both slightly negative and so they repel.
what i do not know is what would happen if a positively charged sphere were to touch a neutral sphere....would the neutral sphere pass some of its electrons to the positive sphere and make it negative or neutral? and what would the initial sphere become?
