Right now i am running a audiopipe 1000 watt class d mono 1 channel amp. the subs are 3 infinity reference series 12's however one of them is the 1252 dual voice coil and the other ones are the 1220 single voice coils..my amp has a switch to turn it 2 ohm or 1 ohm...right now i am running 2 ohm. Problem is that when the low frequency is hitting my green light on my amp turns red then back green again.. also i was thinking that it had to be a power issue. I am running 8 guage power wires. and yes my fuse and my amp gets hot....just seeing if i should go ahead and upgrade my wires to 0 guage.

Your not going to burn up the amp, you may blow a fuse though. Your amp is going into protection mode because of the OHM load your giving it. Your running 2 single coil subs and 1 dual coil sub, that is your problem right there.
