I'm trying to figure out if a friend is lying about something, here's the situation:
She lived in China and got homes schooled most of her life, once she started to live in Edmonton Alberta, Canada she informed me that she was informed that her home schooling did not count against her education. She claims to be 23 years old and is stating that she has to upgrade her courses before she can join a college, another friend is telling me that it does not take two years to do what she is doing.
Is this true, or is she actually younger than what she is claiming to be?
She also claims that she's joining the prom when that happens, there isn't an age limit of who can and cannot go to the prom in this area? Here students over the age of 19 can not attend a prom ...
