Question About C45 Display

When powering the phoen only display's light shows, no letters no graphics, no logo, nothing . Onlythe bright diplays light is on.
Is this a software or a hard ware (display) issue.
Much appreciate your reactions.

In this case 80% is SW problem
That's a kind of WRONG SW in Siemen mobile !!!
Pls try unlock with no save MAP and use origin IMEI!!!

But if phone still can make call then you must write a good E2PROM!!!

Thanks for your reaction . Tried as you said. Phone is alive, it boots... recognises the sim , you can make and receive calls, but nothing on the display. Just the normal yellowish bright light on the display area.
Possibly damaged display or loose conatct, or is there still something to be tried software wise????

Maybe there is bad contact between PCB and display.Try to open your phone and see the quality of contact between display and board.I know a lot of people with that problem and 99% of problems are bad contacts. If you dropped your phone on the floor or something like that, there is a great possibility that display has lose contact.
 
Opened the phone. Nothing unusual about the contacts. I think that the display is faulty and most probably will need replacement.

Do you know the name/type of display you mentioned? Is the one type then better than the other?

I have C45 when power switch pressed lcd lights will on about 2 seconds and then slowly off, no display on the lcd, just light. Is this a h/w or s/w fault? Thanks

No, in most cases , that LCD will work on other phone. even a brand new LCD wont display on that phone. 80 % hardware.

Hi, I can assure you all that 90% of a50 and c45, have display problem. This is because flex cable between display and motherboard stop making good connection. U can try to pull up just a little flex cable and power on, usually phone displays correct image.
So conclusion is, if u change display phone will work.

i have many phones with this problem
only changing the display it solves the dilema
trust me - this is the mostly deffect find at c45 siemens
attention with the new one : when u replace it maybe it works but be careful when u flex the flat - it can be damaged very quickly, most of the chinese happend for me
