Question about buying ringtones on verizon?

When you sign into the online account, do you go into my services and then change the phone to yours? It automatically comes up with the account holder's main phone. You need to sign in, go into My Services, and then change it to your phone number (a picture of your phone will come up) then scroll down to ringtones. Or do you just sign in, then go straight to the app store?
 
My mom, dad, and I have a phone family plan. My dad is the account holder.

Anytime I go to the verizon media store to buy ringtones, they send to his phone! I want them to send to my phone! And since they came straight from verizon, they are copyrighted, so I can't send them from my dads phone to mine.

How do I get them to send to mine?
p.s. I sign straight in... Is that wrong?
