I bought a new car, a 2009 Pontiac G5 and it came with 15" hubcaps!!! I am in the market for something a bit nicer but I need eductated on how things work.
I went to discount tire online and they have a neat little system where you can view what rims would look like on your car and they included some options such as 15, 17, and 18" rims however they said somethign that confused me and said that buying certain rims does not necessarily mean i have to buy new tires (this is ideal for me since my tires have less than 200 miles on them). Does this mean that all 15" rims can fit in my stock 15" tires? Or does it mean any 15, 17, or 18" rim listed on the site can fit on my stock tires?
I guess I just need educated so I don't drop 300-600 bucks on rims and find out i got to drop another 400 on tires! Thanks so much!
