My 1999 Buick LeSabre gas gauge reads full almost all the time, regardless of how much fuel there is. Now, from reading other posts, I know it's probably the fuel sending unit in the tank, but my question is, would it hurt to try a gas additive, and see if this unsticks it, if that's all it is? Are these additives okay to use? I was thinking of STP.
