My boyfriend is Brazilian. We have been dating for over 2 years, and just today one of his girl "friends" from Brazil sent him a message that said something along the lines of "I am dying of longing for you." The message ended with "Eu amo muito voce." Which I know means I love you very much. I am not very familiar with Brazilian culture, is this appropriate for a girl friend to say to a boy in Brazil (who has a girlfriend)? They also used to date.
