First off I want to apologize deeply, I know this is probably a thread SOMEWHERE.. I just haven't found anything that has helped me personally yet. Please forgive me if my question has already been covered and if it has please direct me to it!! It would be greatly appreciated.
Now my question is... I am a verizon customer, as you can tell by the title of my thread, and I currently use an LG VX8550 (Chocolate). I have changed my phone number (and paid the $15 to do so!!) to prevent unwanted callers and texters from contacting me but somehow they have discovered my number yet again and down the drain my $15 went. I have figured out how to block unwanted callers, there's actually an option in my phone to block all incoming calls except for ones from those in my contact list. My problem is now the text messages, there is an option to block ALL incoming and outgoing texts, but I don't want to block all of them, I just want to block certain numbers from coming through. I have tried to use verizon's vtext.com to block the numbers but the texts are still coming through. I have spoken to several verizon service reps and tech support reps and they offer the blocking of calls but texts from designated numbers, and the block only lasts for two months. I do not want to change my number again it's a hassle and obviously a waste of my money, can anyone help me?? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!
