I need to learn how to ride a bike for college in the fall. My campus is completely flat. I have no experience with biking and was wondering which type of bike will be easiest to learn with - mountain bike or beach cruiser?
I have heard that most beach cruisers do not have hand brakes but pedal brakes; isn't this more dangerous because you have to rely on your reflexes to stop your motion?
