Question about Army recruiting...?

what to do?

You should get your documents back NOW! If the recruiter gives you a hard time, call your congressman's office the next day. Those are too important to leave anywhere. When I was recruiting, we took photocopies for our work files, but only the copies made at MEPS were stamped and signed as "true and correct" by the folks there.

I went to talk to a army recruiter and he asked for my ss card, birth certificate, and high school diploma and its been a couple weeks since I gave it to him when will I get this all back? Will I get it back?

Umm... you gave these things to him and you didn't get them back?

That's kind of scary. Those are the things you NEVER give to anyone. Next time, if someone needs your documents you let them make or keep a copy, but you leave with the original in your possession.

Your recruiter just needs to scan them for your OMPF. Go get them back, before some kid named Pedro shows up with your SSN.

Um. I gave my recruiter my stuff so he could make copies. But never let him keep my official papers. Id call him a.s.a.p and see whats up, and demand them back. Those are important documents. You'll need them during basic, and after. I'd also keep an eye on your credit score and stuff. Not to say your recruiter isn't trust worthy. But better safe then sorry right?
