question about apple earbuds?

so i have had two pairs of apple earbuds that i got with my ipod. and on both pairs i noticed they are great for about two weeks then start to get a little uncomfortable and also get quieter so i have to turn up the volume more. especially on the right earbud i've noticed is always kinda uncomfortable. has anyone else noticed this with their pair or do you think it's just my ears? XD
