I was born in Calgary and lived there for twenty years. I just moved to California and am having trouble adjusting to American culture. Back home, we used to do this prank we called "kidding the goat." This is when one goes to a middle school and reveals his "goat" to the "kids".
Now I'm in Pasadena, and people say that I can't do that here. Is that true?
In Calgary, its frowned upon. Its an unenforced law. People (including the police) back home find it to be a great deal of fun because it is a victimless crime.
