Question about adobe flash.?

Adobe flash is EXTREMELY complex. In order to use it you will have to learn the ActionScript programming language, tweens, and managing the MovieClip structure.

It took me 2 years at a University to learn and become proficient at Flash. Start by buying a book on Flash and learning ActionScript, Class structures, the Flash Interface, Tweening, and MovieClip/Symbol management.

ActionScript is used to actually control the Symbols/MovieClips. Tweening is used to create the illusion of motion. MovieClips are the individual actions of the Symbols.
 
I got adobe flash cs4 and I wanna make and intro for my video. I want to use some objects which are cut out from pictures (a knife and a bowl) but I don't know how to do that.
