would skipping time or being out of time cause the piston to hit the valves. i took the engine apart and the timing chain was really loose so im replacing it and when i took the head off it looks like the intake valves and one exhaust valve was barely hitting the piston and i think that one of the exhaust valves is bent now, any help would be great.
