Can a male beta jump? i have a square vase and used it as his fish bowl. i was wondering if it is a possibility that he could have jumped out.
i came into work today and he was laying on my desk about 5 inches away from his bowl. a few things were out of place on my desk so i know someone was around my desk after i left on friday. i think its a very good possibility that some jerk scooped him out of his tank.

I also want to add that i sit at work with this fish on my desk for 40 hours a week and i have never seen him leap, jump, or come out of the water at all. well, only to take a breath or eat..but thats just his mouth. i just have a hard time believeing that he just out of the blue jumped out of his bowl.
