Hey everyone. I used to have a Nokia 7190 and I was in love with it, my favorite phone ever, hands down.

I've been looking for one for quite a while now and can't find one for the life of me. I'm currently using T-Mobile in the US (massachusetts).

My question is, would a 7110 work in the United States? I'm pretty sure it was marketed in the UK.

And my second question would be; does anyone have either of these phones for sale? Ebay, craigslist, google, I can't find one ANYWHERE.

Thanks in advance!

Dear Monkikuso,

I have this phone right now. And it works perfectly fine. Even did the 7110 sliding door conversion. It is really hard to find this phone. I got mine on eBay last month from a lot auction of used 7110/7160s from California. When I found out there is a 7190 mixed on the lot, I take my chances and won the auction. When I got it, the phone was simlocked on Canada's Fido Network. That is my first problem. It won't accept T-Mobile SIM! Did my research and I unlock it myself using a data cable and software free from the internet.

About your questions, The 7110 won't work in the United States because of its frequency (GSM 900/1800). The United States GSM frequency is (GSM1900), so technically it will really not work. About where to get one, check out eBay Canada or Craigslist Canada since this phone was offered to them in the early 2000s via the Fido Network. If you find one, let me know. I can help you unlock it.

P.S. Check the photo I included. No hoax, its a real working phone! And I'm a real person who lives in Illinois bro! :smart:
