Question about 14 month old and eating.?

My 14 month old doesn't eat much some days he eats a lot. I make sure to give him a daily vitamin as the dr says. Does anyone have this issue with there 14 month old is it a phase or what. He is also a picky eater and will eat only what he likes. He love to drink water all day long too.
Yeah, but sometimes I feel like he should be starving cuz he only ate a few bites and won't eat anymore.
 
all kids have their moments when it comes to food. when they get really hungery and eat alot it is a sign of them about to grow and when they are not in a growth spurt then they slow their food intake.
