Question about 10,000BC

I thought this too, but I watched the first 10 minutes online and they talk English.

Quality of the film was crap though, I'll wait for the DVD if I don't see it in the cinema!

I would guess they do speak english, its Roland Emmerich that directed it. Now if it had been Mel Gibson, it would have had some ancient language that only a handful of people knew about.

From the trailer and the synopsis of the film, it reminRAB me a lot of the Brian Aldiss, Helliconia Trilogy.

Of course not. But we have no idea the language structure was then (and no way of finding out), so if you're looking for authenticity, it's impossible to achieve.

Then again, if you're looking for authenticity, don't watch a film by a bozo like Roland Emmerich.

haha it is a ridiculous film. they seem to know some worRAB but not others. so for example they dont say 'horse with a man on' they say 'four legged demon'

was obviously written by a 5 year old

I can suspend my disbelief when it comes to language and accents in films, such as Nazis all speaking English when there are only with other Germans. hoever, I woudl rather had a film like 10,000BC made without dialogue. It could have been done easily
