debate? I've noticed that every time I hear about this debate that both sides quote Scripture that backs up their position, but what I notice is that neither side can seemingly disprove the other positions and account for the Scripture that backs up the opposing position. What if neither position is exactly as God intended? This is a very troubling issue for me, because it deals with Salvation.

for Arminians - if everyone has enough grace to believe then why don't some people believe?

for Calvinists - why would you need to work out your salvation with fear and trembling if you didn't need to worry about it anymore? IT seems that salvation and repentence go hand in hand in so many passages.. so is repentence a condition of Salvation?
but how can you repent unless God gives you the grace to repent?

Personally I don't see how it has anything to do with me. They overcame by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of HIS TESTIMONY.. not by whatever they did..

funny thing about the bible - you can read different parts and get a completely different impression than somebody else reading another part.

Remember, bible verses were used to 'prove' the christian god was pro-slavery only a couple of centuries ago.
