Quesiton - Punk Bands

...Since we all think we can spell, why don't we all correct each other's posts to make ourselves look a bit more intelligent....BTW...The day Anti-Flag are even with Blink 182 is the day I'll admit that you know what you are talking about.
It is "Is."

Wow, JackJeckel, you have proven yourself indefinately an idiot. Congratulations, and how's that working for you? The day Anti-Flag are even with Blink 182 is the day I'll admit that you know what you are talking about.

Coherence is fun, kiRAB!

PS. Anti-Flag lick my nuts.

wow, you must be proud, you can spell outside of school. Congratulations, you'll go far in life. i hope everyone is impressed with jack's intelligence, i know i am

so what jack, what do you think are the best punk banRAB? i'm just curious. I really like public enemy and reagan youth. Mainly reagan youth. TSOL is good too. What about you buddy? Impress me.

You'll never be able to download it cause they have it to a point where they go through a series of bits and pieces of each of the songs on the album but don't give you the whole thing unless you are really lucky. I'm not a huge fan of all the lyrics by anti-flag. "Seattle was a riot" is one of my favorite songs by them, but sometimes I just find a lot of moaning about what isn't right in the world in there songs. I could buy a Mariah Carey CD and probably get the same thing. Leftover Crack is good though Jack.

Ill post some, but I can't guarentee you can listen to these worRAB :D -

ANTI-FLAG LYRICS

"One People, One Struggle"

The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.

Time to see the world as a whole!
Time to light the fire with the fuel!
That's a concience movement,
in our hearts.
Everywhere you look red white and blue
Everywhere you look they're fooling you.

Every revolutionary
was once considered an enemy
Cointel underminded the life
Of Dr. Martin Luther King
Everywhere you look red white and blue
Everywhere you look they're fooling you.

One people, one struggle!
Stand United, Stand Peacful!
One people, one struggle.

Time to see the world as a whole.
Time to light the fire with the fuel.
That's a concience movement,
in each and every one of your hearts!
Everywhere you look red white and blue
Everywhere you look they're fooling you.

One people, one struggle!
Stand United, Stand Peacful!
One people, one struggle.

One people, one struggle!
Stand United, Stand Peacful!
One people, one struggle.

The union,
Of free thinking,
Colors don't,
Mean liberty.
The union,
Of free thinking,
The union,
Of free thinking.

The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated!

One people, one struggle!
Stand United, Stand Peacful!

One people, one struggle!
Stand United, Stand Peacful!

One people, one struggle!
Stand United, Stand Peacful!

One people, one struggle!
Stand United, Stand Peacful!

The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated!

Public Enemy were a rap group, last time I checked :)

Bleh, I don't listen to much punk anymore, but were I to pick my old favorites...

Anti Heros
Leftover Crack
the Adicts
The Virus
Action
Choking Victim (ska but whatever.)
Subhumans
The Clash

um... I'm more into British Oi! and whatnot over traditional American punk, but whatever.

i just wanted to say that i do not understand the blink phenomenon and i don't give a crap if i make grammatical errors. LOL! Anyways, all the blink albums seem to have a feel to them, a whiny feel. A weird thing also, is that about, what, 70% of their songs is about girls, and the rest is about something stupid, like acting ***, or something. And also, it seems that with each album their ""talent" musical-wise keeps declining. LOL anyways, i had a bit of respect for them before, but remeraber, i used to wear diapers too (when i was a baby, just in case anyone misinterprets it LOL). ANYWAYS, uhm... yeah that's it. P.S. that was my opinion.

The last line in Captain Anarchy is:
Fighting, let's stride for... SOME UNITY!

Which is why I am part of their fanbase. It's not the fashion and the anarchist attitude that so many people crave when they hear or see Anti-Flag, its the unity. True, what the eye can see will effect opinions. But can you see ideas?

Here's one of my new favourites (The lyrics are a little off I think, but oh well):
The Separation of Church and Skate (NOFX)

Lost in a sea of corabat boots, flush the bouncers with wasted youth
When did punk rock become so safe, when did the scene become a joke
The kiRAB who used to live for beer and speed now want their fries and coke
Cursing and flipping birRAB are not allowed, in fact let
