Querry on TX, pls help?

Hi All,

I have read in one Review that T5 can be used as Flash Drive. It can be used as USB Storage, that you can drag and drop file from PC to T5 and vice versa.

Is this possible with TX? Is TX has functionality as the T5 that serves as file storage?

The short answer is "No" - the TX works differently than the T5.

The long answer....

The T5 has a portion of memory that "looks like" an SD card for storing information. I believe it is 128Mb of the total 256Mb of internal memory.

The TX on the other hand, does not have this "internal disk storage" but does have 128Mb of non-volatile flash memory. With this type of memory, the device can have its battery drained and the memory will not be erased. Everything stored remains and is usable after you re-charge the unit.

As for using it as an SD card through the USB port, there are "ram disk" programs which will allocate a portion of this memory to look like a disk, and with a third party program such as Card Export (www.softick.com) or others, you can access this as an SD card.
