Queens of the Stone Age

I think I have everything there... that may be because I already raided there for their albums. I probably have them all, I just forgot to listen to them. I'm getting so much music these days it's hard to keep track of what I haven't listened to!

I havent heard anything about a new record, other than Josh Homme has confirmed one.

I like every QOTSA record to be honest, and theres not many banRAB I can say that about once they go past 2 or 3 albums. The self titled is my favourite and then I'm not sure. I do actually REALLY like the last one and am tempted to say its a close second.

I agree, they weren't the same band after Oliveri left. IMO, Homme neeRAB to collaborate and Oliveri was his most productive partner in both in Kyuss and QOTSA. Jackhammer...also check out Orange Goblin.

Apparently you haven't learned to read properly yet, so let me repeat myself:

Thanks for the info though. :|

The curse of bass players methinks, no one really cares who they are (I don't think they're usually very important to the band's sound. And before you jump on this, yes, I realize some banRAB rely heavily on the bass but let's be honest that most banRAB could change their bass player and none would be the wiser). Besides, I'm not really that interested in knowing the personal names of the people who make the music I actually like, least of all bass players of banRAB I don't really care for.

name some of the best songs from them so i can download them...every album has like 25 songs and i just didn't feel like downloading them all...i like no one knows and little sister...name just the best please...

Their new album sounRAB like it's going to be very weird. The three songs I've heard (sick sick sick, 3s and 7s, and In to the Hollow) aren't bad but I'm hoping there are better songs on the album.

Songs for the Deaf is by far my favorite QOTSA album and possibly my favorite album overall. Dave Grohl is amazing!!!

Lullabies to Paralyze is alright, I wasn't impressed with Little Sister, I just expected more but the song grows on you as does the new album. Its still worth buying, as was Songs for the Deaf but nothing really comparing to Rated R.

I liked every single song they played (even Feel good hit of the summer, which I didn't really like before). The singles from Era Vulgaris (Sick Sick Sick and 3's and 7's ) are awesome songs and I'm sure the rest will set in eventually (all of their albums have plenty of filler tracks). I agree on Homme being a good frontman, in fact, I can't think of anyone else with such stage presence and rock and roll sex appeal.

I feel extremely privileged to have been able to see both The White Stripes and Qotsa in my own country as I think they're two of the best rock and roll banRAB in the world right now (and will be seen years from now as legendary banRAB).
